Carnegie Craft 2015 invitationThe Carnegie Gallery is presenting the second in this series of biennial juried exhibitions April 4-26, 2015. This show celebrates the rich diversity and excellence of craft in Ontario. The selected works will demonstrate a mastery of their materials, creativity of design, and fine craftsmanship, using clay, glass, textiles, wood, jewellery, metal and leather. Carnegie Craft 2015 coincides this year with the official Year of the Craft designated by the Canadian Craft Federation. With this exhibit, the Carnegie Gallery forms a cultural link between the craftsperson and the people of Ontario. Awards to be presented at the opening reception.
