Carnegie Craft 2013 inviteThere is a rich history of excellence in craft in Ontario especially in  our region. In recognition of this fact on November 1st,, the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas is presenting its first Carnegie Craft 2013: Biennial Juried Exhibition to showcase the many talented artists working in a wide variety of disciplines in Ontario today.  We hope it will become an eagerly anticipated event on the Ontario craft calendar.

It is an especially exciting time as it will be one of the first exhibitions in the newly renovated and expanded gallery space, providing a beautiful showcase for the chosen work.

The jurors are Janna Hiemstra of the Ontario Craft Council and George Wale, formerly Director of Programmes at Burlington Art Centre.

There will be a prize for Best in Show , two Awards for Excellence and five media-specific awards.
