TICKET DESCRIPTION: The front garden is dominated by a mature birch, under which specimen shrubs include a corkscrew hazel, Dapple Dawn lilac and Tom Thumb cotoneaster. Sun and shade perennials tumble around a dry creek bed (which visitors may walk up, with care). Well-placed Frank Nice sculptures and some beautiful boulders on which thyme and sedum thrive complete the picture. Then you enter the magical back garden, with well over 200 different, labelled, varieties of hosta arranged throughout her garden, along with other shade-loving plants, including wood poppies, unusual ferns, heucheras and more. Prepare to be amazed!
