A.  Eclipse Design Stained Glass

Demonstration of Glass Mosaics
Eclipse Design artist Valerie Webster, will take you through the various stages of mosaics. This demonstration will include cutting the glass and grouting the finished project. More information about the store and classes plus a virtual gallery of stained glass projects is available on the Eclipse Design website.
• 2:30 pm (approximately 45 minutes duration)
NOTE: The store/ studio will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

I.  Dundas Little Theatre

Dinner with Friends, a comedy/drama by the Pulitzer Prize winning new American playwright Donald Margulies performed at the Centre for the Arts. Check the Dundas Little Theatre website for more details.
Adult Admission $15. For ticket reservations please call 905-627-5266.

All studios will be open between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Door Prize ballots will be at all studios and the draw will take place at the Carnegie Gallery.

B.  Potters’ Guild of Hamilton and Region

Fall Sale at the Dundas Community Centre with the work of over 60 potters on display. Visit the Potters' Guild Gallery to view pottery samples.

C.  Beads of Colour

Emphasis On Earrings (BEGINNERS' WORKSHOP)

D. and E.  The Carnegie Gallery and the Dundas Museum and Archives the Past … Into the Future

The Carnegie Gallery and the Dundas Museum and Archives present a joint exhibition, Out of Past ... Into the Future from November 2nd to the 25th. It will feature new works created by invited artisans.
• Opening 7:00 - 9:30 pm at both the Carnegie Gallery and Dundas Museum and Archives. From downtown Hamilton you can join the Pearl Co. Art Bus to travel to this opening event.

Saturday November 3

A double-decker bus will provide a shuttle service to the Dundas Museum, the Carnegie Gallery and the Potters’ Guild Fall Sale at the Dundas Community Centre every 20 minutes between 11:00am and 3:00pm (SATURDAY ONLY).

A.  Eclipse Design Stained Glass

STAINED GLASS DEMONSTRATIONS AND OPEN STUDIO
The proprietor and stained glass artist, Janet Mercer, will present a hands-on demonstration of the making of a stained-glass sun catcher using the copper foil method.
• 11:30am (approx. 1 hour duration)
NOTE: The store/ studio will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

John Storey, a member of the Eclipse Design team and specialist in stained glass restoration, will demonstrate the basics of constructing a stained-glass window using the traditional lead method.
• 2:00pm (approx. 1 hour durations)

B.  Potters’ Guild of Hamilton and Region

Fall Sale continues at the Dundas Community Centre.
• 10:00am - 8:00pm

C.  Beads of Colour

Caddis Spiral - Revisited (INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOP)
This piece is created by embellishing with 15s or DBs on a circular peyote tube. No clasp is needed. Pre-registration required (call 905-628-6886).

D.  The Carnegie Gallery

Knot to be Missed! - a demonstration given by rope and canvas craftsman Dave Lambert, who is a member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers.

Creations Designed to be Noticed! - jewellery demonstration by Susan Bowinkelmann. Susan is known for her bold, often colourful pieces of "one-of-a-kind" and "limited edition" jewellery.

Open House and Estate Sale

Learn how to use a wire jig to quickly and easily create original jewellery. Also learn how to make your own earring wires.

Make your first needle felted vessel. This wonderful cylinder is formed by molding shape and colour into unique designs. Needle felting I or equivalent required. Pre-registration required (call 905-628-6886).

presents Violinist Jeremy Bell, Clarinetist Mark Thompson, and Pianist Susan Lee. Program includes Brahms G Major Violin Sonata and Aram Khachaturian's Trio for Violin, Clarinet and Piano.
