The first Arts Dundas weekend was organized in 1987, and has since become an annual event. It's main purpose is to raise awareness of the very active arts community in Dundas, Ontario, both amateur and professional in all disciplines. It also provides visitors with an opportunity to meet the many artists and craftspeople and to enjoy different events in the lovely surroundings of our valley town (officially the community of Dundas in the City of Hamilton). Photos below show three of last year's participating artists at work.
If you are an artist/ craftsperson in the Dundas area and would like to participate in this year's event please contact Barbara Patterson at the Carnegie Gallery. (905-627-4265)
